So it's pretty funny that I get around to posting here about once a year now...guess I don't spend enough time online...ha ha ha, just kidding I'm at a computer all day everyday just not my own where I can access blogs and facebook and whatnot, so even if you don't see me online just know I'm still alive and kickin'! ;) So since I really can't sum up a whole year in a blog I will just focus on this year's events so far.
So this year so far the biggest events have been my sister in law's birthday in February. She turned 28 and she is still as beautiful as ever! Sure do love my sister in law!!!
Then here is this random but cute picture I just had to include of Oscar and our dog Chewy from the beginning of February!
Then in March I tried out my culinary skills and made a new recipe Black Bean and Mango Tostadas. They were very yummy!
Then came Miriam’s birthday and Oscar and I drove with my parents to Ely, NV to celebrate with Megan and her Family.
Here is the birthday girl and Jacob on the trampoline they just got from Grammy and Poppy.
Here is Miriam when she opened our present to her, a fairy Tinkerbell Barbie.

Here she is opening Aunt JaNae Uncle Mike and Cousin Jacoby’s Present. A hooded towel and some clothes.

Here she is reading her birthday cards with Mom’s help. Great Job Miriam!
And here’s Preston after he woke from his nap and saw they got a trampoline for all their birthdays from Grammy and Poppy!

Preston at the restaurant, oh such a cute little boy he is!

Next came Oscar’s 27thbirthday on March 26th
Oscar with his birthday cake, they got him the trick candles this year that don’t blow out, it was pretty funny.

Some of his favorite gifts of course were his new tools and his new wheelbarrow which has come in very useful might I add!

Here is the carrot cake I made for him. Sadly we forgot to refrigerate it afterwards and it went bad in just a day or two with the cream cheese frosting on the outside.

After Oscar’s Birthday came Easter and with Easter came the coloring of eggs!
Oscar and I coloring eggs!

Chewy’s egg! We wrote his name on it in white crayon then colored it!

Oscar being goofy with our dozen of colored eggs!

Our eggs!

Later that night we went to see the musical ZORRO at the Hale Centre Theatre, it was the first time I had ever been to that theatre and it was such a beautiful theatre.

They even had the Zorro costumes on display.
It was an awesome show!  Even Oscar thought it was great and he doesn’t like musicals much!

Easter egg hunt with the nieces and nephews at Grammy and Poppy’s house!

Activites before the hunt!
Are you guys ready?
Miriam and  Jacob just starting out!
Preston wanted to admire his bucket before getting down and dirty finding those eggs.

Amanda’s eggs were a little bit harder to find and she was getting frustrated

Jacob, Miriam, Amanda, and Preston all with their Baskets!  We’re done!

After the hunt we played with bubbles, and just relaxed!

For Easter Oscar also set up little Easter egg hunt for me at home and left me a special note!

Here’s all the eggs I found, and even when I thought I had found them all I still found about 4 or 5 in that next week…guess we should have counted them to make sure I got them all.
