Christmas Time!

Hi to all, So soon I will get pictures up here from something other than our wedding. We only have pictures from last Christmas, but probably anything I post you all will like because maybe you have never seen all these pictures of us. Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! For our Christmas update I wrote this poem to send in the Christmas Cards, if you don't recieve one, sorry. Here's the poem:

Christmas Time is almost here
And it has been almost half a year,
Since we’ve been married here in June
And now the snow is coming soon!
We thought to update you on our lives,
Now Oscar’s grateful to not have hives!
Cause in this year we moved into our new house,
Where cats were living and found no mouse.
He’s allergic but we cleaned well,
And now our house turned out just swell!
Now Katie has been a busy bee,
For cleaning a house takes quite a fee!
She works at the Credit Union full-time,
And likes her job for it is just fine!
And Oscar has had quite a year,
With school and work, the schedule’s never clear!
He works at Smith’s where he loves his friends,
Yet sometimes it seems his job never ends!
And though we’re grateful he has one,
it isn’t always that much fun!
But that is life,
With hopes it’s free of strife!
Now we depart,
With you close to our heart!
We would write more to this rhythm,
But we’re out of time.
So we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
And hope that for you it will be full of cheer!

Getting Married

Yes that's right you all I decided to finally start a blog for our family since we are officially a family now after the wedding on June 25, 2009. We have now been happily married for 4 months...and neither one of us is dead yet so we're doing good, but don't hold your breath for us...j/k. We love each other very much and I have to say married life has been a bliss and a trial in one. Oscar is so sweet, he makes me breakfast quite often and I make him dinner! So other then that we are getting use to the chore it is keeping our new house clean and fixing the random things that break around the house. We recently got a new garage door opener(thanks to mom and dad's present for my birthday) for our garage since it broke, and a new battery in my car since that also went out. Other then that we have been having a lot of fun. Katie cut her hair, and loves how easy it is to do, and fast! Oscar has moved to a new location for work and is liking his new position though he misses his old friends at his store in Sandy! Well all, we wish you a Happy Halloween!
